ABOUT MAVUNO HILLCITY

Mavuno’s Hill City campus is the headquarters of the Mavuno movement.
This congregation was initially located at the South C Sports Club, and later moved to the Bellevue complex along Mombasa Road in the south side of Nairobi, Kenya. On the 2nd of march 2014, the campus relocated to it’s current home in the Athi River area. The senior pastor, Muriithi Wanjau, gave oversight to the campus until 2016 when he transitioned to provide leadership to the global Mavuno Movement.
In their quest to own houses, Nairobi has seen an increased migration of the middle class to the outskirts of Nairobi. Major Developments of housing and malls have been going on to meet this need, and Mavuno’s Hill City campus is strategically located to reach out and disciple the young professionals who have moved into the greater Athi River, Syokimau, Kitengela and Mlolongo areas.
We are located along Mombasa Road, off the interchange into Pridelands, and are opposite Greatwall Gardens, directly behind Coloho Mall. We meet every Sunday, with our service times as from 9.30am-12noon and from 12noon to 2pm
If you are new to Hill city, you will find things that define our discipleship strategy (transformation loop) and our values. We are more than just a church to attend – we are a community that is passionate for the lost, for transformation and for changing the world, all while being centred on the person and work of Jesus Christ.
Our campus also runs youth and children’s services that run concurrently with our adults services. Our children ministry also consists of;
  • Mavuno Creche (0-4) yrs
  • Mavuno Kids (5-12) yrs
  • Ropes (13) yrs
  • Mavuno Young and Fearless (14-19) yrs
